Our annual Family Reunion Picnic was so much fun again this year. I love seeing everyone get together and just enjoy the day with each other. The food was delicious, plenty of side dishes and burgers and hot dogs on the grill. We had a DJ and tons of activities for everyone to enjoy. Can't wait for next year!
I work in mechanical and electrical design. Outside of work I DM for multiple D&D and Pathfinder role playing games and participate as a player when I am able to. I also enjoy board games, movies, drawing, writing and photography.

EA Active
When I first purchased my Nintendo Wii last year I made sure to buy the Wii Fit package with it. After using the Wii Fit for a while I wanted to check out some of the other "exercise" based games that the Wii had to offer.
I bought my copy of EA Active toward the end of last year. In my opinion this game really gives you a great workout. I've done workout videos in the past, but would much rather pop this disc in the Wii and do a workout routine. Active offers a nice variety of exercises. There are pre-made workouts, or you can design your own routine. It shows you which muscle groups you will work within your routine. It also tracks your calories and offers challenges and trophies to keep you coming back.
I would recommend both the original EA Active game & the EA Active More Workouts disc. You can purchase the leg strap and arm band separately if you want to have two sets so you can work out with a friend or family member.

Heat Wave
Since the NorthEast is currently experiencing a bit of a heat wave, I decided it was finally a good time to go swimming. I usually only swim occassionally and I haven't owned an actual bathing suit in quite a few years. Well, I finally caved and purchased a suit and went swimming last night. Spent over two hours in the pool and it was nice. I might go swimming again in the next few days, especially if the heat sticks around.
